Gabler And Meyer Promoted At First Commonwealth Bank


First Commonwealth Bank has announced two promotions within its retail banking network as part of a market realignment in the bank’s 16-branch Community PA Central region, which includes Bedford, Blair, Clearfield, Elk and Jefferson counties.


Sean Gabler, current branch manager at First Commonwealth’s St. Marys office, will be elevated to Financial Solutions Area Manager for the nine branches in Clearfield, Elk and Jefferson counties. To fill Gabler’s current position, Danielle Meyer, current assistant manager at St. Marys, will be promoted to branch manager.

Their relentless commitment to helping customers and businesses with their financial needs is in great alignment with our mission to improve the financial lives of our neighbors and their businesses. We are thrilled to have them in these positions as we grow this newly align market.”


Gabler joined First Commonwealth in 2008 as an officer manager at the Kersey office and has spent the past five years as St. Marys’ business banker branch manager. In 2011, Gabler transferred to Office Manager of Saint Marys before being elevated to his most recent role.


He lives in Saint Marys with my wife, Danielle. They have two sons, Bryce and Greyson, and a granddaughter.


Meyer is in her fifth year at First Commonwealth and has served as the assistant branch manager for four years. Hired in 2020 as a Sales & Service Manager in Saint Marys, she assumed the responsibilities of at the Kersey Office, holding a dual role.


She lives in Saint Marys with her husband, Wes, and two sons, Jack and Henry.
