Karns City Tops St. Marys, Union/AC Valley Over Cameron County, Ridgway Rolls
Two long Cole Johnston to Owen Kaufman touchdown passes in the third quarter helped Karns City pull away from visiting St. Marys, 28-7. The lone St. Marys score came on a 12-yard Bruno Stager touchdown run early in the second quarter that tied the game at seven.
Scoring 55 unanswered points, Union/A-C Valley shook off a rough start to beat visiting Cameron County, 55-8, in D9, Region 3 action at Vidunas Stadium in Rimersburg. Fragale ran 28 times for 117 yards and a touchdown for Cameron County, while Rogan Pearson was 3 of 9 passing for 77 yards with three interceptions. Barrett Dixon ran five times for 44 yards.
Markus Gerg ran nine times for 102 yards and three touchdowns and made eight tackles on defense, as visiting Ridgway rolled to a 47-0 win over Kane in D9, Region 3 action.
