Do you have a loved one who has a tendency to wander?
Project Lifesaver's mission is to use state of the art technology in assisting those who care for persons with Alzheimer's, dementia, autism, down syndrome and other cognitive conditions which may lead to wandering.
Life and Independence for Today works in collaboration with the Elk County sheriff's Office and Elkland Search and Rescue to provide this program to the residents of Elk County.
Project Lifesaver clients are fitted with a personalized radio transmitter which will emit a silent tracking signal 24 hours a day which will assist local emergency agencies in locating those who cannot help themselves.
