Linda Ann Moore, age 74, Weedville

Linda Ann Moore, age 74, of Mt. Zion Road, Weedville, PA, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 15th at home surrounded by her family. Linda was born on December 27, 1951 in Greensburg, PA to Bruno and Pauline (Karelis) Romagnino. Linda was a 1969 graduate of Hempfield High School. She was a dedicated, hard working woman who would often serve more sass than drinks at the Benezette Hotel for nearly twenty years. When Linda wasn’t putting others first, she would spend her time getting lost in a book, planning her next craft, or spending time with her family and dogs. Linda could also find joy in busting a move on the dance floor while singing off-key.

Linda is survived by her daughter; Carrie (Dennis) McGuire of Coldwater, MI; three grandchildren, Trae (Emily) McGuire, Mackenzie (Kyle) Maka, and Gage McGuire; two great grandchildren, Zion Maka, Siobhan McGuire and a third, Scarlett Ann McGuire, arriving very soon; a sister, Karen “Cookie” Keim of St. Mary’s and her four furry kids, Benny, Charlie, Blue, and Micah. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and former husband and close friend, Carl “Bud” Moore.

There will be no public visitation. A celebration of life will be held at the Benezette Hotel on Sunday, April 26, 2026 with prayers and remembrances at 2:00 and open house until 5:00.
