A new survey reveals some of the top cleaning habits of Americans who
plan to go somewhere this busy summer travel season. One thing is
clear: we don’t want to come back after a vacation and find a messy
house. More than 75 percent of those polled said they prefer to clean
their home prior to heading out. Before traveling, people tend to
focus their cleaning on laundry, dishes, the bathroom, and sweeping and mopping.
