1992 – The Black Crowes reached #1 on the U.S. album chart with The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion, marking a major breakthrough for the band iHeart.


1997 – West Arkeen, guitarist for Guns N’ Roses on Use Your Illusion albums and unofficially known as GN’R #6, died in Los Angeles from a drug overdose at age 36 iHeart.


2005 – Coldplay’s album X&Y was illegally leaked online a week before its release, despite the band not sending press copies. The leaked versions were falsely attributed to “The Fir Trees” to mislead pirates iHeart.
