Richard J. Keller, 98, St. Marys

Richard J. Keller, 98, of Spruce Street, St. Marys, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Elk Haven Nursing Home.
He was born March 7, 1928, in St. Marys, son of the late John and Ellen Pavlock Keller. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1946. Following graduation, he served his country in the United State Navy from 1946 until 1948. When he returned to St. Marys, Dick went to work at Stackpole Carbon, where he worked for thirty-five years. Following his time at Stackpole, he went to work at Windfall Products for seventeen years before retiring.
Dick is survived by a sister, Carol Brunner (Jerry) of Surprise, AZ; a brother, Jerome Keller of Frederick, MD; his friends, especially his neighbors, Matt and Molly Quesenberry and their family; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Ruth Matson Shaffer and Joanna Angelo; and two brothers: James Keller and Earl Keller; and his longtime companion, Lorainne “Doris” Dworsky.
Dick was a private and humble man. He was a parishioner of Queen of the World Church and enjoyed gardening, bowling, and fixing things. He was an avid sports fan who supported his teams, especially the Penn State Nittany Lions, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Crusader basketball.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA 15857 on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 11:00AM with Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, Celebrating. Full Military honors will be accorded by the St. Marys Servicemen’s Burial Detail. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home, 169 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 from 9:30AM until 10:15AM.
Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the St. Marys Servicemen’s Burial Detail, 168 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857.
