Shapiro Administration At Fox Township Community Building Wednesday at 10 a.m. Announce New ATV Routes

The Shapiro Administration will announce newly designated All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Routes in Elk and Potter counties, highlighting a new Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) process that makes it easier to connect ATV trail networks and expand safe ATV travel in the Commonwealth.

The Shapiro Administration will also highlight the expansion of ATV connector routes through the new PennDOT process that allows municipalities and regional organizations that manage trail networks to request an ATV route designation from the department. The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) will discuss state investments to expand and improve ATV and snowmobile trails and facilities across Pennsylvania, supporting outdoor recreation and rural economies.
