Six New All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Connector Routes in Elk County

Six new All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Connector Routes in Elk County are now available for use in daylight hours during the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR)’s designated riding season, which ends the last Sunday of this month (it began the Friday before Memorial Day).
The new routes connect to the Elk County Trail of Dreams and Northcentral Regional ATV Trail and were approved through a new PennDOT process that allows municipalities or regional organizations that manage ATV trail networks to request an ATV route designation.
The process is designed to help connect existing trail networks while providing safe, responsible access to communities and destinations.
The six new routes are:
• South Kersey Road (Route 2007) between Boone Mountain Road and Chicken Hill Road
• Irishtown Road (Route 2007) between Old Shawmut Grade Road and Brown’s Road
• Brandy Camp Road (Route 2011) between Route 219 in Horton Township and Cuneo Road in Fox Township
• Toby Road (Route 2003) between Kylers Corner Road and Hogback Road
• All of Kylers Corner Road (Route 2013) in Fox Township
