Uhl Family at Rolfe’s Hunt

Kohlson Uhl hopped out of the truck to show me the coyote he and his Dad had shot the evening before. Kohlson hunts with his Dad whenever he gets the chance.

Bryan and Kohlson were hunting private lands in Potter County on Wednesday evening. On their second stand of the evening near 11:30 pm, a 22.4# male coyote came to the gun. Kohlson exclaimed, “We were using the diaphragm call Randy Anderson Hot Dog Howler again and the ‘yote came right in. Change it up a little bit, and get away from the electronic calls that everybody else uses and you can get those coyotes to show,” said Kohlson. Sounds like he has the experience to back up those words.

Bryan Uhl shoots a .223 with a thermal scope. The family that hunts together, stays together.

Weigh-in is at 6:00 p.m. every day for this 10-day hunt. Additional information at the Facebook Page, Rolfe Beagle Club.
