Some Hate Summer

Some people hate the season.

Summer advertises itself as the season of fun and sun, but those who are anti-summer say don’t believe it. It’s the season of pests —

particularly ticks, mosquitoes, flies, fleas, and wasps. Ticks, mosquitoes, and fleas in particular can spread diseases that include

malaria, yellow fever, Zika, dengue, and Lyme.
