Two Vehicle Accident On Boot Jack Road In Ridgway Township

Pennsylvania State Police reported a two vehicle accident that occurred on Boot Jack Road in Ridgeway police had a vehicle driven by Jason Marsh of Ridgeway was stopped to the southbound lane in Route 219. Marsh was waiting for a vehicle in front of him to make a left hand turn. According to State Police Josie Griffith 27 of Kersey was traveling southbound well behind the marsh vehicle. Griffith was distracted by an item that fell to the vehicle and the sun. According to police Griffith then did not see the marsh vehicle stopped and was unable to brake in time. The Griffith it vehicle then struck the marsh vehicle from the rear. Assisting at the scene of the Ridgeway Fire Department and Ridgeway Ambulance Service.
