City Police Investigate Accident Invovling E-Bike

City police in St Mary's reported investigating an accident at the entrance to the St Mary's Plaza on South St Mary Street according to police a 2013 Subaru operated by Harley Thompson of St Mary's was attempting to turn right from the Plaza onto South St Mary Street when an E bike, operated by Christopher Lee- can of St Mary's was traveling northbound along the southbound berm of the South St Mary Street. Leecan attempted to cross the intersection at the Plaza and struck the passenger's side of the Thompson vehicle was ejected from the bike. Leecan suffered injuries from the collision. Both units failed to yield the right of way to each other, causing the collision. Assisting at the scene, the Crystal Fire Department, and the Saint Mary's Ambulance Service.
