St. Marys Man Charged With Burglary

City police responded to a report of a burglary on George Street according to police Eric Dippold, 45, of Saint Mary's was taken into custody through the investigation officers located controlled substances in the possession of dipolt officers also learned that the man had taken a variety of tools from the victim's residence dippold was charged with first degree felony burglary, 3rd degree felony criminal trespass, 3rd degree misdemeanor theft, ungraded misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, and a summary public drunkenness and similar misconduct. Dippold was arraigned before District Judge and Bill was set at $25,000. Dippold was unable to post bail and was placed in Elk County Prison waiting a preliminary hearing.
