Daniel “Savage” Larkin,68, Ridgway

Daniel “Savage” Larkin, age 68, of West Main Street, Ridgway, died unexpectedly, at home on September 29, 2026. A son of the late Robert Herald and Elizabeth Jane (Bauer) Larkin, he was born on May 4, 1958 in Bethesda, MD.

Dan is survived by two children, James (Crystal) Larkin of Johnsonburg and Christina Larkin of Kersey; five grandchildren, Kylee, Cameron and Mackenzie Larkin, Braydon Wickwire and Shya Morris; two great-grandchildren, Jaxton Marche and Oaklee Larkin; a sister, Valerie (Brian) Wilkinson of Norfolk, VA; and the mother of his children, Alice Larkin.

Dan lived most of his life in Elk County, with many years in Medix Run and the past forty years in Ridgway. He was a graduate of St. Marys High School class of 1976 and served several years in the Army National Guard. He worked for CG Carbon for many years and later as a Security Guard for local businesses. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, working out, hanging out in the sun and spending time at the Community Pool, and especially spending time on his X-Box.

Public visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield. Funeral services will be held, 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Missy Smith of the New Hope Church of Bennetts Valley.

Military Honors will be accorded by the Bennetts Valley American Legion Post 978 Honor Guard.
