Lady Crusaders Defeat Northern Potter, Clarion-Limestone Over Cameron County

A 20-point first quarter helped third-seeded Elk County Catholic roll past sixth-seeded and visiting Northern Potter, 54-26, in the D9 1A quarterfinals. Lena Polaski led ECC with 17 points, while Stauffer added 11. Peyton Newton also scored nine. ECC will face Otto-Eldred in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kane.

Clarion-Limestone defeated the Lady Red Raiders, 58-21, 58-21 in the District 9 Class 1A quarterfinals Friday night.Trinity Earle had a team-best nine rebounds for Cameron County while adding three points, while Breslin had four rebounds. Clara Clark also had three points and seven rebounds.

DUKE CENTER, Pa. – Thanks in part to three 3-pointers in the first quarter, second-seeded Otto-Eldred raced out to a 14-point lead at the end of eight minutes on its way to a 59-27 win over seventh-seeded and visiting Austin in the D9 1A quarterfinals.
