One Person Injured In Accident On Old Wilcox Road

State police investigated an accident on Old Wilcox Road, near Klondike Road. According to police, a vehicle driven by John McMahon, 78, of Johnsonburg was attempting to pull out of the Elk County Foods Parking lot and travel south on Route 219. As McMahon was exiting the parking lot, he failed to yield to a tractor trailer who was traveling south. After a collision, the tractor trailer traveled back into the parking lot and struck a parked vehicle. The McMahon vehicle then continued to travel through the parking lot where it struck another parked vehicle. As a result of the accident, McMahon was transported to Penn Highlands for treatment of injuries.
