Travis Allen O’Connor, 43, Johnsonburg

Travis Allen O’Connor, 43, of Water Street, Johnsonburg, passed away Tuesday September 29, 2026. He was born February 8, 1983, to his beloved parents, Allen “Babe” and Cathy Flegal O’Connor.
Travis proudly served his country overseas in Iraq and Kuwait as a PFC with the US Army Airborne. His military service was an important part of his life and it reflected his courage, dedication and commitment.
Travis was a lifelong resident of Johnsonburg and was a 2001 graduate of Johnsonburg Area High School, he was a member of the Johnsonburg United Methodist Church, the Ridgway VFW, Johnsonburg American Legion and the St. Marys PFL.
Above all, Travis was a loving father, son, brother and cherished member of his family. He is survived by his children, Lilly O’Connor and Jovani O’Connor as well as Deangelo Roseberry and Antonio Roseberry whom he loved and raised as his own and who held a special place in his heart. He also shared a meaningful family bond with their mother Elisa Castaneda, who remained an important part of the family they created
Travis is also survived by his parents, Allen “Babe” and Cathy O’Connor, his sisters Nancy Ginther (Tarz), Sarah Spong (Steven) and Raven O’Connor (Morgan); his brother Jesse Flegal (Tammy) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Travis was preceded in death by his brother Damian O’Connor, maternal grandparents Earl and Eva Flegal and paternal grandparents Allen O’Connor, Sr. and Lillian and Leo “Boob” Winters.
Travis’ passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of all who loved him. His family will carry with them the memories they shared, including the laughter, stories and special moments that made Travis uniquely himself.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, fellow veterans and all whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace and may his memory live on through his children and everyone who loved him.
A private funeral service for Travis A. O’Connor will be conducted at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services Chapel, 401 Chestnut Street, Johnsonburg on Saturday October 3, 2026, at 2 PM. The family will receive friends and family for one hour prior to the service at 2 PM.
Immediately following the funeral service, the family invites everyone to a luncheon at the Central Hose Co. Social Hall, Johnsonburg.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Johnsonburg-Ridgway-Wilcox Servicemen's Detail. Detail members are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Satirday afternoon at 1:30 PM
